Saleen introduced RC2, based on the Ford Focus
The best known facet of the U.S. signature Saleen is the manufacture of Supercar as the S7, which reaches the mystical figure of 1000 hp. However Saleen is deeply rooted in the ground for the modification of Ford models, good example is the Ford Mustang Saleen H320SC. 
Perhaps his most recent creation does not have much nerve as the aforementioned, yet they lost one iota of attraction, it is the Saleen RC2 Concept based on the Ford Focus coupé American. Despite the fact that in Europe we have a Ford Focus sedan variant, the American model is quite different variants of the European homonymous.
The RC2 is geared to a younger audience looking for a high performance car affordable. The exterior is changed around the perimeter of the car, starting with a new grille and air inlet fully functional in the front, passing through the skirts up to the rear wing.

In the field of performance and behaviour of the car also appreciates difference with the model number. The suspension has been replaced by one with a more sporty, with springs greater rigidity. The power of four-cylinder engine increases through a new dual exhaust outlet and improved engine air intake. Although we do not know the exact figure is expected to increase about 15 hp, slightly more than 10% gain respect to the 143 hp 2.0 liter model unmodified.
Saleen has chosen not to amend further the mechanics, giving that job to other consolidators. Anyway this is a good starting point for an amount of 20,000 U.S. dollars, approximately 13,000 euros, or what is the same, the price of a Fiat Bravo at no extra 90 hp.
