Volkswagen Golf VI, official details
With the official presentation of the model planned for the Paris Motor Show in October this year, the first details on the new edition of the most successful Volkswagen car begin to come to light. Yesterday he offered the first official images, but with little details, so today it is the turn of the data on the new Volkswagen Golf VI.
The car will be marketed in Europe the same month of its presentation in Paris, to be introduced in succession in the markets of Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. The main details that are then analyze the new line of engines, the increased supply of DSG change and a reduction in consumption of the entire range.
Volkswagen Golf 
The new Golf goes on sale accompanied by four gasoline engines, more efficient now, with a power output of 80 hp, 100CV, 122 hp and 160 hp. The latter two make use of engine technology IST, which is coupled to a turbo engine and a compressor volume. One thing to emphasize is achieved consumption of 6.4 litres/100 km for the entry model 80 hp and what is more surprising still 6.3 litres/100 km for the release of 160 hp thanks to the aforementioned technology IST.
Those who opt for the diesel variant may choose between two other diesel engine 2.0 l since the time of sale, with power of 110 hp and 140 hp respectively. The consumption for these are 4.5 litres/100 km for the release of 110 hp and 4.9 litres/100 km for the 140 hp.
All engines of Golf VI, with the exception of models of entry, may be coupled to a gearbox DSG speeds of 6 or 7 depending on the engine torque. Thanks to its reduced consumption, up to 28% less than the current generation in some models, the entire line of engines meet future emission regulations EURO5.

Security is also improved, thanks to a more refined ESP, better response to impacts, seven airbags including knee, daytime running lights and detectors seat belt for the post.
With the intention of placing the car in a higher position in its category the new Golf inherits elements of the Passat CC, as the chrome surrounding the instrumentation. It also includes a new buffer layer on the windshield that improves the sound of the carrier, for the same purpose have been designed new guides windows. The mirrors have also been redesigned to improve the sound once again, with the help of new isolation between the cockpit and the engine.
Golf VI 
It incorporates innovative electronic support systems such as automatic control of remote control adaptive chassis, higher level of assistance in the right direction for a parked easier. All these elements help the new iteration of Golf to be placed above the compact cheaper.
With regard to prices, the level of entry is from € 16,500, € 200 over the current version. It has also been confirmed by the mark that all models, both with steering wheel on the left and right, will be manufactured at its main plant in Wolfsburg, Germany.
